Flight School is the aviation
wing of the Hindustan
Group of Institutions,
a pioneering educational
group at Chennai, offering
a wide range of courses
in Engineering, Management,
Applied Sciences and Aviation.
OFS was established at
Pondicherry in 1994 and
is approved by the Director
General of Civil Aviation
(DGCA), Government of
India. The flight training
at OFS meets international
standards, in accordance
with regulations of the
International Civil Aviation
Organisation (ICAO) and
the Director General of
Civil Aviation (DGCA),
Government of India.
With
the introduction of low
cost airlines in the open
skies of India and Asia
region, there is an anticipated
demand for over 2000 qualified
pilots in the next five
years. With the introduction
of airplanes like Airbus
A380, Boeing 737-800/900
and Airbus 319/320 by
Air India Express, Kingfisher
Airlines, Indian Airlines,
Etihad Airlines, Air Asia,
Air Arabia, Air Deccan
and so on, there will
be tremendous demand for
Indian Pilots. With the
most modern fleet of aircrafts
operated by Orient Flight
School in its eleventh
year of operations, we
are poised to cater to
the future of Aviation
Industry in India.
In
Thirteen years of operations,
OFS has trained hundreds
of pilots, flown over
17,000 hrs, making over
32,000 landings, creating
an excellent and impeccable
training record. We have
executed training programs
for various non-scheduled
and scheduled operators
including Air Sahara and
are proud to announce
that several of our graduate
pilots are flying for
various airlines including
Jet Airways, Indian Airlines,
Alliance Air, Air Sahara,
Air Deccan, Air India
and several other organisations.

a charter division. It
has created several landmarks
of excellence in flight
training by sketching
and providing courses
based on individual requirements
such as Advanced Flight
Training Program, LOFT,
