| The M.Sc Programme seeks to prepare participants for high level careers in the ever expanding field of Information Technology. It comprises a comprehensive and integrated sequence of course aiming to develop the knowledge and skills in all areas of Computer Application and Management. Modern computer center with over 40 terminals, with Pentium processor based systems are available. |

| ELIGIBILITY |
|
| Candidates should have passed Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or B.C.A or B.Sc., Computer Technology from a recognized University. The candidates from the Universities other than Madras University should obtain an Eligibility Certificate from the University of Madras before admission. |

| DURATION |
|
| The course duration is two years consisting of four semesters. In Order to be eligible for the award of the Degree the candidate should successfully complete the course within four years reckoned from the date of enrolment for the Ist semester of the course. |
