Globalization of economies of different countries has led to real competitiveness and only the fittest will survive. The future youth must equip themselves with the knowledge of global markets, latest technologies and different business concepts so that they can work anywhere in the world. With the advent of multinational companies entering the production and marketing of their various products, the requirements of quality education of international standards has become a must. The future scientific, technological and managerial manpower should be of high international standards. |
| |
The Twinning Program gives an opportunity for the students to obtain the standard through their interaction with the environments of different continents. To have this opportunity, a student must be able to afford the huge expenditure on overseas studies. The twinning program reduces this expenditure considerably. |

| CLASS HOURS AND CREDIT HOURS: |
| |
Each course is assigned a number of units of academic credit called credit hours which is based upon the number of clock hours that the course meets per week for the duration of the semester. Normally one credit hour is equivalent to one clock hour of lecture / discussion per week for the duration of the semester. Thus a three credit hour course would meet for three clock hours per week for the entire semester (for a total of 45 hours), a four credit hour course would meet for four hours per week for the entire semester (for a total of 60 hours). A laboratory class meeting for either two or three clock hours per week for the entire semester is the equivalent of one credit hour. |
| |
| GRADING SYSTEM AND SCALE |
| |
Students earn grades in a course through the use of variety of internal evaluation tools including assignments, quizzes and exams throughout the semester, as well as the final Exam. Using their percentage scale, letter grades are assigned to different percentage levels as included below. Each letter grade is assigned a number of honor points, which are used in calculating grade points average. |
| |
|
| Computing the grade point average (GPA): A student GPA is computed by Multiplying the number of semester credit hour for a course by the number of hour point corresponding to the letter grade achieved in the course. The total number of credit hours taken in the semester to derive the GPA then divides the total number of earned points. |
| |
| CUMULATIVE OVERALL GRADE POINT AVERAGE (CGPA): The CGPA is calculated by adding the total number of earning points (honor points time credit hour) for all semesters and dividing by the total number of credit hours for all semesters. |
