OFS provides the students regular transport facility to and from the airport for flight training and also for ground training to city office. For night flying at Trichy or any other outstation centre the students will be required to make their own arrangements. In addition, transport services are provided to commute to and from the exam centre at Chennai on payment. Pondicherry is well connected to Chennai both on the NH-42 and on East Coast Highways.

Students can avail themselves of residential facilities at the well-appointed hostels provided by the School. These are furnished with the latest amenities to make students feel at home. The accommodation is on a twin sharing basis. The School will provide suitable family accommodation on request for married overseas students. For those requiring independent accommodation, OFS can provide furnished and also air-conditioned apartments at special rates. For girls separate arrangements are available in the town which offer excellent facilities and are close to the airport. Those students who reside in our hostels are provided transport to the airport at nominal charges. |

- A hostelite will have to stay in the room allotted to him/her with two or more inmates.
- Inmates of each room are jointly held responsible for the furniture and other fittings, etc., and any damage to the hostel property is recoverable from them.
- Guests are strictly prohibited from entering the hostel premises without prior permission of the warden.
- Once a student has paid and has been allotted hostel accommodation, under no circumstances will the money be refunded.
- Students may be expelled from the hostel for violation of rules and misconduct such as theft, ragging, abnormal behavior, use of drugs and alcohol, indiscipline, non-payment of fees, etc. A student expelled on disciplinary grounds shall forfeit his/her fees and deposit.
- The Management reserves the right to reject any applicant's admissions to the hostel. In matters of admission and discipline, the decision of the management shall be final and binding.

1. Application for admission to the hostels should be made in the prescribed form. A passport size photograph must be affixed in the application form. The students seeking hostel admission must give an undertaking in writing that he will abide by the rules of the hostel. This shall be endorsed by the Parent or Guardian in writing.
2. Residentship shall be terminated automatically at the end of each academic year. Students who are desirous of returning to the hostel, shall make a fresh application for re-admission.
3. The Management reserves the right to refuse admission to hostel to any student without assigning any reason or to expel any member in the interest of administration.
4. The decision of the management will be final.
5. A student admitted to the hostel for a particular year should pay the fees for the entire period of one year regardless of the date of joining.
6. A student who joins the hostel is expected to stay for a minimum period of one academic year and any one leaving the hostel before completion of the period will forfeit the establishment charges, caution deposit and fees paid.
7. A student, who once reserves his seat and pays the fees for hostel accomodation, will not be eligible for refund if he cancels later.
Disciplinary action will be taken for violation of rules and misconduct by hostel inmates. In all matters of discipline, the decision of the management will be final. A student expelled on disciplinary grounds will forfeit fees and deposit paid.

Hostel Leave Rules |

1.Students who are sick and want to go home or their local guardian must obtain permission from the warden.
2. Students who leave the hostel for weekends should apply for leave in the prescribed form and obtain permission before they leave the hostel.
3. Leave for reasons other than sickness, should be obtained in advance from the warden.
4. Students are allowed to go for weekends only once in month.
5. All genuine grievances and problems should be reported to the Hostel Warden. |

| Additional Rules For Women Students |
| |
1. Parents/Relatives will be permitted to visit on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays between 2:00 and 6:00pm.
2. Students will be permitted to go out during the weekend to visit relatives or local guardians once a month within the written approval of the parents. Over night stay is not permitted unless the stay is with the parents.
3. Students are warned to keep jewels with them in their rooms. |

| A NEAT ROOMS - A HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT |

1. Please utilise the dustbin kept in the corridor for throwing the garbage.
2 Keep the clothes, pillows and beds spread neat and clean. Wash them at least once in a fortnight
3. Use hangers for hanging clothes.
4. Do not dry (washed) clothes inside a room. Provision to dry the washed clothes is available on the terrace of each hostel.
5. Avoid foul smelling items in your room.
6. Please ensure that your foot wear is clean.
7. Please do not stick anything on the windows/doors.
8. Students are advised to trim their hair at least once in a month.
9. All students who require their expensive clothes / bedspreads etc. to be dry-cleaned in the city can get it done through the hostel manager.
10. A monthly competition will be conducted in each hostel /wing and the residents will receive a prize for the best room. |

Consumption Of Water And Electricity |
| |
Water and electricity are precious. Avoid wastage of water while bathing and when using the toilet. See that the taps are kept closed after use. All electrical fittings should be switched off while leaving the rooms. Switch off Acs during power failures and when the voltage is low. |

| Fee Payment |
| |
| Payment of Tuitions/Transport fee /Hostel fee/Mess fee for the academic year is to be made on or before the specified date, after which a sum of Rs.50/- will be charged per day for the first 15 days and thereafter Rs 100/- will be charged per day for another 15 days. Students who do not pay the fees within the grace period also, will be removed from the rolls and will have to pay a sum of Rs 3,000/- towards readmission fee and fine |
